Keep Keith County Beautiful

2006 Annual Report

For every $1 of local government money invested, Keep Keith County Beautiful returned $7.59 in the form of cost avoidance, reduced cleanup cost, volunteer hours and donated goods and services.

 

 

 

With the cooperation of the local businesses and schools, we collected $632.20 worth of used ink cartridges this year!  The money is used for Keep Keith County Beautiful projects not covered by grant funding.

 

Scrap Tire Amnesty Day

Keep Keith County Beautiful collected 37.32 tons of tires and they were recycled and kept out of our landfills.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

Keep Keith County Beautiful had a one day collection for local residents to dispose of their household hazardous waste properly.  We collected:

Paint-3,800 lbs.
Pesticides-475 lbs.
Acids/bases-50 lbs
Miscellaneous-109 lbs.
